The Society for Indian Ocean Studies (SIOS) offers internships to students and young researchers with a keen interest in maritime affairs, geopolitics, and regional cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region. The internship program is designed to provide academic exposure, research experience, and an opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects, publications, and events organized by the Society.

Interns work under the guidance of senior scholars and practitioners, gaining insight into contemporary maritime and strategic issues. The program encourages critical thinking, academic writing, and professional development in a collaborative environment.
